InVentry Sign in System - Register your ID Card

To ensure that the school/estates staff are aware of the staff in the building, staff will need to sign in and out using the InVentry units located around the school. This is done by simply scanning your staff card on the device when entering/leaving the building.

Main Unit in Reception
Mini Units located around the school

 

First….. you need to register your card on the InVentry unit in the Reception of your school (SECAT Central teams will need to register on the unit at SECAT House). You will only need to do this once!

To register, follow these steps:

  1. On the main InVentry unit select Staff.
  2. Then search for your name and click on it.
  3. You will get a message asking you to scan your card against the reader.

If you don’t get this screen and it signs you in, please contact the IT Helpdesk

4. Scan your staff ID card on the reader.

You can now scan your ID card on any unit to sign in and out.

*It will take 24 hours to sync across all schools before you can sign in at other sites.
